There is a way to backup your files and
photos online and it is totally free and it
is offered by Windows. All you need is a
Windows Live Account or a hotmail email
address to join this free service and it
works with a Windows PC or Mac computer.
You can upload, store and share photos and
data up to 25 gigabytes worth with no
charge. However, there is a downside for
some people because there is a 50MB upload
size limit per file. 50MB maximum file size
should not be a problem for most people but
if you are wanting to store large videos online
this would surely not be the way to go.
NOTE: If you are looking for MORE than 25GB
online storage, for free or to purchase, it
is not being offered at Windows at this
time. So, you get 25GB free, which is really
great, and that is it.
If you already have an hotmail or a
Windows Live ID account you are
already granted the 25GB of free
storage. If not, remember you do not
have to sign up for a hotmail
account just a Windows Live ID
limited account.
You can use your Windows Live ID
account to sign up to MSN Messenger,
MSN Hotmail, MSN Music, and other
sites and services! Windows Live ID
works with Passport Network sites.
